What can I say? I picked up Karl Kerschl’s soft-cover book this weekend at TCAF and I was instantly absorbed. This book is brilliant from start to finish. The characters, settings and dialogue are perfect.

Charles Christopher is a sasquatch-like beast who wakes up in the woods one day. His adventures take him to many strange places, and to many strange creatures. Each one with its own story to tell.

This is not a light-hearted tale of whimsy. I found myself moved. This is a web-comic that in a few panels can be expressive, thought-provoking and emotional.

It’s just beautiful.

Why are desks and chairs designed so poorly?

Don’t get me wrong. They’re typically comfortable enough in all of the obvious ways, but I have yet to find a desk & chair combo that doesn’t force you to look downward at your screen.

Maybe I just have a long torso. I’m fairly average in height. (172cm ~ 5’7″)

I’d like to be able to lower the average chair by about 6″ or raise my monitors. I think I’ll start putting my monitors on something so I can sit up straight while I work.

Alternately, I could purchase an ergonomic solution.

Many defend and apologize for PHP’s shortcomings, when the reality is that with a minimal amount of initial effort, there are options out there.

I fell through some levels and ended up in a shop on a floor I previously didn’t have access to.

I haven’t played the other games in this series but I have to say it’s pretty good so far.
