Hello Deb,

Did you notice how you're commenting on the wrong article? You're commenting on an article about the Queen video Bicycle Race. XD

The way you fix it is to upgrade your Axim X5 firmware from the old version to the new version A05 which contains the Windows Mobile 2003 OS.

How to do this has already been outlined in the comments of this post: http://www.eanbowman.com/blog/2007/04/22/how-do-i-sync-my-dell-axim-x5-in-windows-vista/

If you have further problems feel free to comment again (but try to do it on the right article please).

Cheers

One more thing I forgot...besides using the research library, I want to be able to access the Internet without being connected to my PC. That's all unless there's a way to get emails and attachments as well, but that may never happen. The research library and internet are at the top of my list. Can you help me!!>!>!>

HELP, please. I have a Axim 5 tht r uns with version 3.0.11171 (build 11178), 1996 - 2001 Microsoft Corp with Intel PXZ 255 processor, 63.54 MB. Want to put a word library (research materials I can take with me) that requires 1.11 KB and 4.0 KB on disc (whatever the difference means). I gave a 4.0 Gig Dell PC and want to sinc the two. Is that possible...Or is it like asking my grandmother to marry my little brother? How can I load upgrades to my A xim if I can't sinc the two? I followed your advice from 2007 (I'm a little behind the Techy pack) and then noticed it works only for 2003 and newer Axims. Do you have a magic fix for my 3.0 Axim 5? Can I download the upgrade and make my Axim 2001 3.0 a 2003 version (how?) and then sinc them using your magic "Connections/USB" switcheroo?
